Wartime Biscuits

Wartime Honey Biscuits

Makes 20/25 biscuits



  • 2.5 oz unsalted butter/margarine
  • 1 oz sugar
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • 5 oz self- raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 small cutter

Buy your ingredients



  1. Cream your butter/margarine and sugar. Add the honey, flour, cinnamon and salt. Mix well till it all comes together.
  2. Place onto a lightly dusted surface with flour and roll out until ¼ inch thick, cut into rounds and place onto a baking sheet. Bake in the oven on 160c for about 10 minutes
  3. Remove from the oven and leave to cool for a couple of minutes then place individually place onto a cooling wire.
